Overexpression of the marA or soxS Regulatory Gene in Clinical Topoisomerase Mutants of Escherichia coli

The contribution of regulatory genes to fluoroquinolone resistance was studied with clinical Escherichia coli strains bearing mutations in gyrA and parC and with different levels of fluoroquinolone resistance.
