Abstract
Well‐differentiated thyroid carcinoma infrequently invades the upper aerodigestive tract. However, when invasion occurs, it is the source of significant morbidity. The most common structures invaded by thyroid carcinoma are the recurrent laryngeal nerves, larynx, pharynx, and esophagus.
