Abstract
We examined the changes in leaf anatomy and some physiological characteristics during leaf expansion and maturation. Three deciduous tree species having different types of shoot phenology, maple (Acer mono Maxim.; ‘flush’ type), alder (Alnus japonica(Thunb.)
