Abstract
The antihypertensive agent mibefradil completely and reversibly inhibited T-type calcium channels in freshly isolated rat cerebellar Purkinje neurons. The potency of mibefradil was increased at less hyperpolarized holding potentials, and the apparent affinity was correlated with the degree of channel inactivation.
