Abstract
Late Cretaceous and Early Palaeogene echinoid faunules collected in recent years from the surface of an active mudflow at the Gschliefgraben near Gmunden (east of the Traunsee, Upper Austria) are both fairly diverse and of considerable palaeobiogeographic interest.
