A New Xyelydid Sawfly from the Early Cretaceous of China (Hymenoptera: Xyelydidae)

Novalyda cretacica, new genus and new species (“Symphyta”: Pamphilioidea: Xyelydidae), is described based on a unique male from the Early Cretaceous, Yixian Formation of northeastern China.
