Abstract
Nitrogen (N) limitation significantly increased the sensitivity of photosynthesis to inhibition by ultraviolet radiation (UV) in two estuarine dinoflagellates, Akashiwo sanguinea (= Gymnodinium sanguineum ) and Gymnodinium (= Gyrodinium ) cf. instriatum .
