Ophthalmoplegic Migraine: A Recurrent Demyelinating Neuropathy?

The demonstration by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning of thickening and enhancement of the cisternal part of the oculomotor nerve in patients diagnosed as "ophthalmoplegic migraine" prompts reconsideration of this uncommon disorder.
