Abstract
Fourteen phenylphenalenone-type phytoalexins (1-14), including three new compounds, were isolated from the peel of unripe Musa acuminata [AAA] cv. Buñgulan fruit which had been injured and then inoculated with conidia of Colletotrichum musae.
