Abstract
The tissue-specific role of mitochondrial respiratory capacity in the development of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes is unclear. We determined mitochondrial function in glycolytic and oxidative skeletal muscle and liver from lean (+/?) and obese diabetic (db/db) mice.
