Abstract
One hundred patients with transient ischemic attacks, minor strokes, or residual ischemic neurologic deficits were enrolled in a double-blind, randomized study comparing the effects of aspirin plus vitamin E [0.4 g (400 IU)/d; n = 52] with aspirin alone (325 mg; n = 48).
