Abstract
Stomatal conductance tends to be positively correlated with grain yield of wheat (Triticum spp.) in irrigated environments and negatively correlated in dry environments, but little is known of its inheritance. High stomatal conductance appeared to be controlled by a single dominant gene in a durum wheat (T. turgidum L. var. durum) cross.
