Abstract
The antimycobacterial activity of an extract of Usnea steineri and of its major constituent (+)-usnic acid was evaluated against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (ATCC 27294), Mycobacterium kansasii (ATCC 12478) and Mycobacterium avium (ATCC 15769).
