Abstract
The formation and evolution of the basement rocks in the Tibetan Plateau remain poorly constrained. Here we report petrology, geochemistry, and zircon U-Pb geochronology of orthogneisses, metamafic intrusions, and metasedimentary rocks from the Amdo basement in central Tibet.
