Abstract
It has been shown that the cells in exudates produced by the injection of tuberculin into the serous cavities of sensitized animals are alive and not dead as claimed previously. Such cells consumed oxygen and glucose at the same rate as cells obtained similarly from normal animals but moved somewhat less actively.
