Isolation of Vibrio alginolyticus and Vibrio splendidus from captive-bred seahorses with disease symptoms

Vibrio species isolated from diseased seahorses were characterized by PCR amplification of repetitive bacterial DNA elements (rep-PCR) and identified by 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequence analysis.
