Abstract
The authors consider underwater acoustic (UWA) channel estimation based on sparse recovery using the recently developed homotopy algorithm. The UWA communication system under consideration employs orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) and receiver preprocessing to compensate for the Doppler effect before channel estimation.
