Abstract
The burning characteristics of isolated fuel droplets for ethanol, 1-butanol and n-decane were experimentally examined in carbon dioxide-rich or argon-rich environments under microgravity. The ambience consisted of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and argon.
