Abstract
A series of novel terminal trimethylsilylacetylene benzoate derivatives with various linking groups were synthesized using Friedel-Craft's O-acylation reaction. The chemical structures of the novel 4-[2-(trimethylsilyl)ethynyl]benzoates were confirmed by standard spectroscopic techniques.
