Abstract
Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is an electrochemical process uses an environmentally-friendly aqueous electrolyte to oxidize the metal surfaces to form ceramic oxide coatings which impart a high corrosion and wear resistance. In this study we investigated the effect of current mode on the properties of PEO coatings formed on an AM60B magnesium alloy.
