Abstract
New ichnological data from the Lower Triassic Werfen Formation (Dolomites, Italy) revealed an unexpectedly diverse and complex ichnofauna in mixed siliclastic–carbonate shelf sediments of the western tropical Tethys shortly after the end-Permian mass extinction event.
