Abstract
In this study, 318 bacterial strains were isolated from the gastrointestinal ( GI ) tracts of 29 rainbow trout, O ncorhynchus mykiss ( W albaum). These bacteria were screened in vitro for their ability to inhibit growth of F lavobacterium psychrophilum , the causative agent of coldwater disease.
