Abstract
A large F2 and a RI population were separately derived from a cross between two indica rice varieties, one of which was highly resistant to bacterial leaf streak (BLS) and the other highly susceptible. Following artificial inoculation of the RI population and over 2 years of testing, 11 QTLs were mapped by composite interval mapping (CIM) on six chromosomes.
