Abstract
Eight children with kwashiorkor, four children with marasmus, and five well-nourishedchildren used as controls, all of whom had been tuberculin negative, received passive transfer of material from lymphocytes of a tuberculin positive donor. All of them became tuberculin positive. The results suggest that there was no impairment of delayed hypersensitivity reaction in the malnourished children.
