Abstract
The effects of in vivo gene transfer of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and inducible NOS (iNOS) genes on severe atherosclerosis were investigated in rabbits. The recombinant adenoviruses, Ad.eNOS and Ad.iNOS, which respectively express eNOS and iNOS, were constructed.
