Abstract
Polylysine induced aggregation and fusion of negatively charged small unilamellar phosphatidylcholine vesicles containing at least 10% anionic lipid. Aggregation was followed by absorbance changes and fusion was assayed both by electron microscopy and by fluorescence energy transfer between lipid probes.
