Abstract
Prospective data were collected on consecutive patients admitted to Khartoum Teaching Hospital with a diagnosis of stroke. Risk factors and clinical characteristics were assessed by neurological examination and computed tomography scan. A total of 128 patients were enrolled in the study, of whom 74 (57.8%) were men.
