Abstract
A unique case of an abdominal aortic aneurysm replacement in a young man of Caribbean descent is presented. The initial working diagnosis was of a mycotic aneurysm, which has recently shown resurgence with intravenous drug abuse. Blood tests and subsequent biopsy ruled that out.
