Abstract
Summary This study was conducted to investigate absorption characteristics of zinc glycine chelate (Zn–Gly) by evaluating tissues zinc status and the expression of zinc transporters in rats. A total of 24 male rats were randomly allocated to three treatments and administered either saline or 35 mg Zn/kg body weight from zinc sulphate (ZnSO 4 ) or Zn–Gly by feeding tube separately.
