cis-Vaccenyl Acetate, A Female-Produced Sex Pheromone Component of Ortholeptura valida, A Longhorned Beetle in the Subfamily Lepturinae

We report the identification, synthesis, and field bioassays of a female-produced sex attractant pheromone component of the cerambycid beetle Ortholeptura valida (LeConte).
