Abstract
Descriptions are provided of the morphology, infraciliature, life cycle, and ecology of the freshwater ciliate Prorodon viridis. P. viridis Prorodon viridis. P. viridis is a prostomatid ciliate with endosymbiotic Chlorellae and with a cosmopolitan distribution.
