To evaluate the frequency and clinical characteristics of periadventitial small-vessel vasculitis (SVV) and isolated vasa vasorum vasculitis (VVV).We identified 455 temporal artery biopsies performed in residents of Reggio Emilia, Italy between 1986 and 2003.
