Abstract
遅発性低酸素脳症（DPL）は，低酸素血症による意識障害から，一旦回復した数日から数週間後に，神経症状の増悪と頭部画像所見の悪化がみとめられるまれな病態である．われわれはベンゾジアゼピン系薬の過量内服によりDPLをきたした2症例を経験した．いずれもアリルスルファターゼA活性は正常であった．ベンゾジアゼピン系薬の中毒症は，救急診療の場においてしばしば遭遇することから，DPLの特徴である2相性の臨床経過や頭部MRIでみとめられる白質病変を理解し，DPL発症の可能性を常に念頭におくことが必要であると思われた...
