Abstract
Patients suffering from severe tracheobronchial obstruction are vulnerable to dyspnea, respiratory failure, obstructive pneumonia, and death. Treatment with a holmium:YAG laser, an alternative to the neodymium:YAG laser, may provide symptomatic relief.
