Abstract
Sutherlandia frutescens has been marked as a potential hypoglycaemic agent for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. We investigated the effects of Sutherlandia frutescens in bringing about hypoglycaemia and promoting glucose uptake in pre-diabetic rats.
