Lipid bilayer of 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DMPE) was formed on the surface of a linearly growing polyanion/polycation polyelectrolyte multilayer (PEM) film prepared by the layer-by-layer (LbL) technique.
