Abstract
Aim: It has been shown that compared with healthyweight children, overweight and obese primary school‐aged children have a higher incidence of hyperinsulinism, dyslipidaemia and hypertension. It is therefore important to investigate clinically relevant markers of cardiovascular risk in children.
