Viruses and virus-like pathogens transmitted by zoosporic fungi

The viruses and virus‐like pathogens transmitted by zoosporic fungi are reviewed. The nine furoviruses (and possible members of the group), with labile rod‐shaped particles, have nearly all been shown to be transmitted by plasmodiophoromycete vectors.
