Abstract
Adipose tissue is the largest compartment in the mammalian body for storing energy as fat, providing an important reservoir of fuel for maintaining whole body energy homeostasis. Herein, we identify the transcriptional cofactor hairless (HR) to be required for white adipogenesis.
