Abstract
Some lactate dehydrogenase modulator proteins have been isolated from the lactate dehydrogenase-free crude mitochondrial fraction of rabbit muscle, beef liver and chicken liver. It was shown that beef and chicken liver mitochondrial extracts exhibited activatory capacity in contrast to the inhibitory capacity of rabbit muscle mitochondrial extracts.
