Gas chromatographic determination of methylguanidine, guanidine and agmatine as their hexafluoroacetylacetonates

Seven derivatives of each of methylguanidine, guanidine and agmatine have been prepared, and the specificity and volatility of their gas chromatographic detection have been studied.
