Abstract
Optical limiting of nanosecond laser pulses at 532 nm has been observed in CdxAg1−xS semiconductor nanoparticles within organic solution of polymeric ionic aggregates. Both free-carrier absorption (FCA) and nonlinear scattering contribute to the optical limiting performance.
