Abstract
Fe, Zn, Sr, Ba and Pb contents are reported for carbonate and non-carbonate (clay) fractions of Lower Cretaceous limestones and dolostones from western Cantabria. Spain. Increases in the Zn contents of both carbonate and non-carbonate fractions are observed in association with the calcite-dolomite transformation, suggesting that the dolomitising fluids were probably enriched in this element.
