Abstract
Introduction of hyperphagia by injection of aurothioglucose resulted in rapid deposition of tissue lipid. The changes in tissue enzyme levels and in vivo rates of lipogenesis from U-14C glucose were measured at 2, 4, and 8-week intervals post-aurothioglucose injection.
