Abstract
The anticodon of yeast tRNA(Asp), GUC, presents the peculiarity to be self-complementary, with a slight mismatch at the uridine position. In the orthorhombic crystal lattice, tRNA(Asp) molecules are associated by anticodon-anticodon interactions through a two-fold symmetry axis.
