Abstract
New material of Kiyatherium cardiodens Maschenko, Lopatin et Voronkevich, 2002 from the Early Cretaceous Shestakovo 3 locality (Kemerovo Region, Western Siberia) suggest that this taxon belongs to symmetrodont mammals of the family Zhangheotheriidae.
