Abstract
Background This study explored ‘loneliness’ as experienced by adults with intellectual disability, with ‘intermittent’ to ‘limited’ support needs. Method A measure of loneliness was piloted, and qualitative techniques used to develop a greater understanding of the participants’ experience.
