Tank Model Using Kalman Filter
Abstract
A tank model for rainfall-runoff is used for application of the Kalman filter. The state vector, representing the parameters of the tank model and its initial values, was estimated by trial and error. The tank model using the Kalman filter with a recursive algorithm accurately predicted runoff in a basin in Korea.
