Abstract
The inhibitory effects of 22 xanthones from three Guttiferae plants (Hypericum patulum, Calophyllum inophyllum and C. austroindium) on exogeneous platelet activating factor (PAF)-induced hypotension were examined using a blood pressure monitoring in vivo assay method.
