Abstract
Crude aqueous extract of Cleome rutidosperma was investigated for diuretic and antibacterial activity. The diuretic activity was tested in rats at 400 and 600 mg/kg, orally and compared with furosemide (20 mg/kg, intraperitoneally) as the standard.
